Tributes and Memorial Gifts

A tribute gift to the Red Cross is an extraordinary way to honor a special person in your life.  You are not only touching the life of the honoree, you're helping your community recover from disasters.  Here are some reasons that people give to the Red Cross:

When a gift is made in someone's honor or memory, the honoree will receive a card letting them know about your generous donation.  The amount of the gift will be confidential.  As an added benefit to you, you will receive a receipt for your donation, which is tax deductible.
 
You can make your gift:
Online
When giving online, simply indicate that your gift is a tribute or memoriam in the comments box, and fill in the appropriate information.  You may also designate your gift via phone or mail.
 
By  Phone with a Credit Card
To give your gift over the phone with a credit card, call (865)584-2999 between 8:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. weekdays, or leave a message and we will return your call the following business day.
 
By Mail with Check or Money Order
  1. Make the check or money order payable to the Knoxville Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.
  2. In the memo portion, write the name of the individual you are honoring.
  3. Enclose a note stating the occasion, name(s), address(es) of the gift recipient.
  4. Send your gift and information to:
